A Lazy Day

It's been a lazy Sunday here. We got up a little later, had breakfast a little later, had lunch a little later, and put the big boys to bed a little later. We still had two trips to the parks. There are two smaller ones that we go to and one larger one. The larger one was crowded today because it was Sunday. Not nearly as much traffic on the streets either. It was much easier to walk and push the stroller. Tomorrow we will find out which judge will examine our case. There are faster and slower ones and obviously we would prefer the faster ones. Our return flight isn't scheduled until Oct 2, so as long as we make that we're happy.
We had an interesting dinner tonight. It was a piece of toast with ham, cheese, tomato and a fried egg on top. There was a red ketchup sauce on it. Interesting, and actually very good. Dan had 2 - imagine that. I even ate it (minus the tomato). Andres doesn't like tomatoes either. We had spaghetti and salad with a homemade sweet dressing for lunch. My favorite meal so far. I told Patricia we could have that every day.
Everyone was asleep by 9:45pm. Not a record, but we'll take it.
We are taking a trip to the mall tomorrow. ALL of us. Should be a fun time. We have a few items we need. Juan needs a stuffed animal to sleep with. He has been using the dogs stuffed animal toy the last two nights. We need "wings" before we go to the pool again. Dan can't hold onto all three at once in the deeper water and none of them can swim. Two of the three have runny noses and I'm out of kleenex already.
Not much going on really. Dan still isn't feeling well. He got a nap today while Andres slept. Juan Pablo really misses him when he's not around. I am in no way nearly as good as Papi.
Take care. Keep praying and we'll talk to you tomorrow.

Who needs a playground when you've got dirt and rocks?
Would you please repeat that in Spanish?

Another beautiful day here. Some neighbors gave us tickets to the Reds game this afternoon so Micah and Matthew and one of Matthew's friends and I went and watched them lose.

The boys watched the fireworks on TV last night. We should take Matthew down to the river sometime to watch them, but it's such a zoo I hate to be there. Weather was perfect yesterday, though.

The boys still look adorable. And routines are good for everybody.

Are they going to be Cub Scouts? We're just getting started up for our new program year.

Just headed out to supper with Terry's parents. One of the restaurants we like has a great deal on Monday and Tuesday - 2 adult meals for 12.99 and kids meals are only 2.00. Yippee.

Look forward to the daily update.
