When we got to Bogota the driver met us and took us to a Bed & Breakfast we'll be staying at until we leave Monday. There are several other adoptive families here (most speak English :)), so there are people to talk to and a few other kids for ours to play with. They also have a playroom with lots of toys, so our boys are nearly beside themselves with excitement about that. They were not happy to go to bed tonight. We went to the doctor to have their required medical exam. That probably took 2 1/2 to 3 hours to finish. The doctor wasn't very quick in doing the paperwork, but it is done. We go to the US Embassy tomorrow to apply for visa's for the kids. I think that will take most of the morning. After that we just wait to go pick them up. So, we should have some free time until we leave Monday.
Not much else going on. It is hard to believe we are almost done here. This trip is something we were looking forward to and planning for and now it's almost over. Now the rest of our lives begin.
Thanks to our friends for taking care of getting car seats for the boys. We are so grateful for your help and support.
Time for a little rest before we do it all again tomorrow.

Hi, It's Grandma here again. I thank God that this part of the trip is completed safely. I am just up for a trip to the ladies room. I just had to look for your blog before going back to bed. I pray the rest of your stay goes well and the flight home will be safe. We love you all, Mom
Hello! good to see that the boys did ok flying. things here are good. i've been really busy doing choir stuff. we had our normal choir practice today at 4. then we had more practice tonight from 6-9. so much singing. it's fun though. i'm still lovin life here. can't wait to come home and see you all next weekend! well i gotta get a little bit of studying done before bed time! see you soon!
I talked to Jonathan tonight and made arrangements to drop off the seats so he will have them to put in the truck before dropping it off at the airport. Work has been a little nuts for both of us or we would have done more. I still have to get birthday gifts for the girls before Saturday at 11:00!!! Yes!! They turned one the 12th!!!! Stay safe.

Another beautiful day here. Had my first Cub Scout meeting with my den and met 2 of my 3 new boys. And let me just say that I'm in trouble! Micah had a great time and asked when the next meeting is - he says once a month is not enough.
It feels like bedtime to me, but it definitely isn't. Matthew had to deliver papers today and I think it's going to be more than I can take. The boy is just too slow. He gets home from school at 3, and wasn't ready to hit the street until after 5:15. He finished almost exactly at time for him to leave for his scout meeting. Which means no time for supper or homework yet. I need to figure out how to "fix" him soon or maybe Micah will take over the route!
