Hey!
Just got word this morning that I will be going to sign the adoption papers tomorrow morning (Monday). That's at least one or two weeks earlier than expected. Praise be to the All Mighty!! That means we should be able to leave for Bogata around Wednesday and home Monday or Tuesday of next week. That's two weeks earlier than our planned October 2 flight.
This is a very emotional morning. On one hand we are very happy to be going home early. It will save a lot of money and give Karen more time at home with the boys before having to go back to work. On the other hand it's a little scarry leaving the support of our friend and B&B keeper, Patricia, for Bogata and then home. Patricia has made life here so much easier. She has been our guide, enterpreter, encourager and all around friend. We thank God for Patricia!
Just wanted to let everyone know the good news as soon as possible. More tonight!

Hello,
Congratulations on getting ot come home early!
I got your blog info off of CHI adoption group and was interested to read it because husband Jon and I just got home from Bucaramanga, Colombia Thursday night with our sib group of three (Andres, 8, Adriana,6, and Alex, 3...Our other daughter is Maria,2, from Guatemala)
I know you will be busy these next few days as you move from Ibague to Bogota and then work on coming home, but if you would like to chat or check out our Blog, feel free. We live in Illinois, so probably within driving distance, if you feel like getting together sometime when you are all settled back home. Our blog address is breuerkids.blogspot.com and you can email us at rose_breuer@yahoo.com or jrbreuer@route24.net
Congratulations again! It looks like you have some wonderful kids!

We are all way too excited for you! I hope you have a good Spanish dictionary, or else have Patricia make you some flash cards of common phrases to help you.
Hope you guys stay safe, sane and healthy during your travel home. We'll keep praying for you (especially the sanity part!).
Do you have the boys' birthdates? (My) Andy especially wants to know how much older Juan is; Andy turned 6 on June 8th. He is quite excited to have a new cousin his age. Perhaps we can even send over some of his over-abundance of toys!
Congratulations on finalizing everything so quickly!
Love,
Amy
What great news!! Sorry we missed your call this morning. We went to church with Kim and Craig since Bob is still on vacation. He goes back to work tomorrow. We saw and talked to Bethany and Jonathan this evening at the Fusion thing at church. Tell the boys Hi and can't wait to meet them. Everybody is excited to see all of you.
Wow! That is so amazing! I'm not even going to mention how jealous I am.... By the way, Hotel Paris was a wonderful place to have the kids. They loved the playroom, the staff was amazing, and the room was great too. They also cannot get OUT of the Hotel without being actually LET out, so there is no fear that the kids will wander off. I also know what you mean about Patricia. She's amazing and I feel like she's my friend now. The savings you'll have from not staying there will be substantial--well worth the cost to change your tickets, too! Praise God!
